Longleaf Community Events

  • Traditional Neighborhoods are designed to accommodate community events because of large common areas, downtowns and public structures within the TND.

  • Events can be for both residents and the public.

  • Below is a sampling of public and neighborhood events you may see in Longleaf…

Memorial Day

  • Every Memorial Day is a special celebration in Longleaf!  Kids decorate bicycles and adults decorate golf carts the night before and a parade of all occurs on Memorial Day through the streets of Longleaf.  Residents and public cheer on the crowd and a ballgame and hotdogs follow at Veteran’s Field located on Marsha Drive.

Farmers' Market

  • The Longleaf Farmers' Market opened in November 2007 and was met with great enthusiasm from the Longleaf neighborhood and the Pasco County community!  The market, held seasonally from October through the following April, occurs on Thursday afternoons from 3-6pm.  Fresh local and organic produce and foods are the highlight of the market, with occasional crafts and entertainment.  The Farmers' Market is held across from downtown Longleaf.
